Director of Finance: The Sisters of the Humility of Mary is seeking a full-time Director of Finance. The Director of Finance, reporting to the Congregation Treasurer, is responsible for all areas of finance for the community and oversight of the daily operations of the Finance Office while maintaining the positive financial position of the congregation and its ministries.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides professional assistance and support to the Leadership Team in all financial and accounting related matters. Serves as liaison to the Financial Advisory Board and its committees providing research and support of its recommendations and projects. Maintains the investment records for all HM investments and the Charitable Trust including the investment spending schedule, distributions, deposits, monitoring of asset allocation, rebalancing the portfolio, and all accounting records for the monthly activity of the funds. Ensures strong internal control. Participates in the provision of effective financial planning and information. Participates in and coordinates the preparation of the congregation’s operating and capital budget. Serves on various committees contributing to the financial planning of the community.
Successful candidates display strategic leadership competencies, embrace the mission and values of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary and evidence the experience of applying business principles consistent with the congregation’s mission and values. Possesses: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and 10 years of related experience, including substantial managerial experience in the financial disciplines, strong investment background, and advanced knowledge of financial software systems. Masters degree, CPA and experience in non-profit organizations non-profit accounting preferred.
This position is located at the Villa Maria Community Center, the motherhouse of The Sisters of the Humility of Mary in Villa Maria, PA, outside of Youngstown, Ohio.

Health Services Staff: We are always in need for per-diem (as needed) RNs, LPNs and Nursing Assistants to care for our Sisters. We are looking for compassionate individuals who will thrive in a person-centered care environment while providing 24-hour health care to the Sisters. Depending on position, duties include: assessing, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, assisting our Sisters with various activities of daily living, and providing personal care. Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania license as an RN or LPN. Candidates for CNA/STNA must have achieved certification in PA or Ohio. Must be willing to work all shifts as needed.
