Keyboard Accompanist: The Sisters of the Humility of Mary are looking for a Keyboard Accompanist to assist the Liturgist in providing quality liturgical prayer for worship at Villa Maria Community Center Motherhouse Chapel. The Accompanist will also assist with Villa Maria Educational and Spirituality Center (VMESC) retreat liturgies and services where appropriate.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include serving as primary musician at liturgies celebrated at Villa Maria; collaborating with the V
illa Liturgist to plan music associated with weekend liturgies, funerals, Holy Day Masses (Christmas/Holy Week etc.), Holy Days of Obligation and special Community Jubilee Celebrations; preparing Cantors or song leaders as needed; preparing and teaching new music and attending Wednesday evening hymn practice with Sisters as needed; assisting in the appropriate liturgical services at the death of an HM Sister, which includes Evening Vespers and the Funeral Liturgy; and providing accompaniment for VMESC retreat liturgies as needed.

The Accompanist will report to the Liturgy Coordinator.

Piano and Organ experience required
Vocal and keyboard skills required
Music or liturgical degree preferred
Working experience and knowledge of liturgy and worship
Ability to learn, understand and support HM mission and values
Organizational skills
Ability to teach congregation music
Flexibility in working hours
Ability to collaborate
Valid driver license
Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language
Ability to maintain good relationship with others, regardless of personal preferences

Health Services Staff: We are always in need for per-diem (as needed) RNs, LPNs and Nursing Assistants to care for our Sisters. We are looking for compassionate individuals who will thrive in a person-centered care environment while providing 24-hour health care to the Sisters.  Depending on position, duties include:  assessing, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, assisting our Sisters with various activities of daily living, and providing personal care.  Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania license as an RN or LPN.  Candidates for CNA/STNA must have achieved certification in PA or Ohio.  Must be willing to work all shifts as needed.
