Pastoral Care Associate: The Sisters of the Humility of Mary in Villa Maria, PA are seeking a full-time Pastoral Care Associate. The Pastoral Care Associate is responsible for offering holistic pastoral skills that integrate the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of the sisters who reside at Villa Maria Community Center. 

Duties include, but not limited to: Visits sisters to pray, talk, and share according to their needs and desires; assists sisters in maintaining family contacts as needed; coordinates group para-liturgical experiences for Visitation Hall sisters at least twice per week; provides spiritual materials for individual sisters as requested; provides prayer and presence for sisters who are very ill and dying if sister has not designated someone else; assists with funeral arrangements; supports efforts to foster ongoing spiritual growth/development; completes a Spiritual Assessment with each sister to determine preferences and needs; and practices ministry of presence requiring active listening skills and empathy, providing nonjudgmental support.

Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have a master’s degree in pastoral counseling and 5 years of experience with older religious adults. Candidates must be a member of a religious community.

Office Assistant, Ministry Center, Westlake, Ohio: The Sisters of the Humility of Mary at the Ministry Center in Westlake have an opportunity for a part-time Office Assistant for 12–15 hours per week. Responsibilities include managing the business aspects of the office, such as accounts payable, coordinating maintenance vendors, meeting scheduling, desk top publishing, and reception duties. The Office Assistant will also handle general clerical functions for various ministries, such as creating documents, copies, and program registrations. Candidates must have general financial knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.

Health Services Staff: We are always in need for per-diem (as needed) RNs, LPNs and Nursing Assistants to care for our Sisters. We are looking for compassionate individuals who will thrive in a person-centered care environment while providing 24-hour health care to the Sisters. Depending on position, duties include: assessing, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, assisting our Sisters with various activities of daily living, and providing personal care. Candidates must hold a Pennsylvania license as an RN or LPN. Candidates for CNA/STNA must have achieved certification in PA or Ohio. Must be willing to work all shifts as needed.
